Introduction to LoginPress Social Login Add-on

 LoginPress offers Social Login Add-on that helps to integrate Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, and Twitter into your WordPress site.

This knowledgebase article will show you how to add social login to the login or register form of your WordPress site using LoginPress’s Social Login Add-on.

Step 1: Activate LoginPress Social Login Add-on

Note: Here, we've assumed that you have already upgraded to LoginPress Pro and have activated the License Key

First, go to the left sidebar of the WordPress admin dashboard and navigate to LoginPress > Add-Ons

Next, navigate to Social Login and enable it.

Step 2: Go to LoginPress Social Login Add-on Tab

First, go to LoginPress on the left side of the dashboard menu and click on Settings

When you click on it, you’ll find the Social Login tab next to the Settings tab.

Here resides the main functionality of the LoginPress Social Login Add-on.

Step 3: Get Started with LoginPress Social Login Add-on

There are two main tabs; Settings and Help

Let’s dive deep into LoginPress Social Login Add-on’s tabs.

Tab 1: Settings

In the Settings tab, you’ll find Facebook Login, Twitter Login, Google Login, and LinkedIn Login. 

All you need to do is to enable the toggle button against the social login you want on the login or registration form.

Note: You can enable all at the same time.

1. Facebook Login

You can see Facebook Login under the Settings tab. You need to toggle on the Enable Facebook Login to make it visible on login or registration forms.

Once you toggle on the Enable Facebook Login, other fields, including Facebook App ID and Facebook App Secret, will open up.

You must fill in all the information to integrate the LoginPress Social Login add-on.

2. Twitter Login

You can see Twitter Login under the Settings tab. You’ll need to toggle on Twitter Login to enable it on the login or registration forms.

Once you’ve enabled Twitter Login, other fields, including Twitter API Key,  Twitter API secret key, and Twitter Callback URL, will open up.

3. Google Login

You can see Google Login under the Settings tab. All you need to do is to toggle on Google Login to enable it on the login or registration forms.

Once you’ve enabled Google Login, other fields, including Client ID, Client Secret, and Redirect URI, will open up.

4. Linkedin Login

You can see LinkedIn Login under the Settings tab. All you need to do is to toggle on LinkedIn Login to enable it on the login or registration forms.

Once you’ve enabled Google Login, other fields, including Client ID, Client Secret, and Redirect URI, will open up.

5. Enable Social Login on 

"Enable Social Login on" option helps you turn on social login on the Login and Register form.

6. Remove Record On Uninstall

Remove Record On Uninstall option is there to remove all LoginPress - Social Logins record upon uninstall automatically.

The Social Login Add-on’s Help tab guides you to integrate Facebook, Twitter, Google, and LinkedIn into the login or registration form.

Yes, LoginPress has full translation and localization support via the LoginPress textdomain. All .mo and .po translation files should go into the languages folder in the base of the plugin.

Step-by-step instructions on How to Upgrade from existing Free version to Pro
1. You have installed and set up the Free version already.
2. Upload the Pro version.
3. Pro features will be enabled automatically.
4. You don’t need to set up Free version options again.
5. Setup Pro features like Google fonts, Google reCaptcha, Choose themes, etc.
